United American Corporation Announces the Completion of its Main International VoIP Switching CO

Montreal, Canada, April 23, 2004. United American Corporation (OTCBB:UAMA) , announces the completion by its wholly owned subsidiary, United American Telecom (UAT) of its new main international CO (Central Office) for VoIP switching. The new facility and the VoIP switching are already operational.

The installation is a state of the-art, with redundant equipment including battery backup, electric generator, redundant air conditioning system, and fiber optic Internet backbone connection.

The main CO has an initial capacity of 21.1 millions minutes per month of VoIP switching, and with increasing capacity . UAT is currently completing International Calls to 200 destinations in more then 100 countries, some of witch are carried out by CaribbeanONE(TM), the company owned international route. The majority of UAT customers are national telecommunication carriers

This new CO while giving the company a strategic positioning in the international VoIP market, is also giving very powerful tools for other kind of telecommunication services such as VoIP local telephony service, that will be able to cover the north american market.
